Spanning over 3 days on Mother's Day weekend, registered participants will have a chance to fish for mud pout along the Castor River.

Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, participants can look forward to another year of incredible prizes, everything from a canoe, kayak, bicycles, fishing rods, tackle boxes, camping equipment, and games.

Every angler who catches a mud pout (only) will have an entry for the grand prizes!

This highly anticipated community function has consistently registered approximately 350 participants every year for the last 11 years.

Safety First! Youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. It is strongly encouraged that participants bring and wear personal flotation devices (PFDs) when fishing.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks available for purchase on Saturday and Sunday.

This event is family friendly and run by passionate volunteers. Poor behaviour will not be tolerated.
